Occurrence and ecological aspects of the two-fingered skink Chalcides mauritanicus in the Chafarinas Islands in North Africa

For the first time, we report the occurrence of an apparently large and well-preserved population of C. mauritanicus on the Chafarinas Islands (NW Africa).
