This natterjack toad conservation project is running in Cumbria, thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The one year project coordinated by ARC and various partners aims to raise awareness of natterjacks and get more people involved in helping to conserve this rare, charismatic amphibian, which is a real wildlife feature of the Cumbrian coastal area and is the UK’s noisiest amphibian.
