We describe a new species of Telmatobius from the Pacific slopes of the Andes in central Peru. Specimens were collected at 3900 m elevation near Huaytará, Huancavelica, in the upper drainage of the Pisco river. Leer más.
 | Puede alcanzar de 13 a 15 cm. Color de fondo beige a verde oliváceo, con manchas definidas de color naranja, marrón, rojo o verde oscuro, bordeado de coloración negra. El vientre es de color blanco, moteado de manchas grises. Existen ejemplares totalmente rojos o totalmente grises. Tienen un pliegue tarsal evidente.
