Big Spawn Count 2013

This spring, we are asking the public to take part in our annual survey – the Big Spawn Count – to help provide more of an insight into the amorous lives of toads and frogs. The first Big Spawn Count took place last year, working closely with Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (ARC) and Amphibian and Reptile Groups of UK (ARGUK), and provided some interesting findings, but we want to find out more about the importance of garden ponds for our native amphibians.
