Drama at Chester Zoo as keepers hold 23-foot-long python steady for health check-up

Bali the python is believed to be the longest snake in Britain, measuring in at more than 23 feet in length. So it was never going to be easy work when staff at Chester Zoo chose to carry out an ultrasound scan on Bali as part of a heart check-up. It took six volunteers to lift the hefty creature out of her enclosure and out to the waiting hands of Dr Eric Stohr, from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Leer más.
