Las diferentes líneas temáticas que se proponen en este congreso sobre Ecología de aguas dulces en Espacios Naturales Protegidos (ENP), se orientan hacia las bases que comprende la Ecología Aplicada, entendiendo que el desarrollo de los diferentes conceptos y modelos en la investigación ecológica básica es condición sine qua non para el avance de aquélla… pero insuficiente a todas luces. Es por ello que el objetivo del congreso sea promover tanto ponencias cuya vocación sea la ecología aplicada a la gestión y manejo de los humedales dulceacuícolas, como basadas en las diferentes líneas de investigación que se estén llevando en la actualidad en diferentes ENP.
