The British Ecological Society has selected the winners of its annual photographic competition, the theme of which is “celebrating ecology”. This image of a green turtle and snorkellers, which was the overall winner, was taken by Benjamin Magana-Roderiguez in Akumal, Mexico. Ver imágenes.

A new small Arthroleptis from western Guinea, West Africa, is described. The new species differs from all known congeners
by the combination of small size and a peculiar red dorsal colour with irregular large black and small white, yellow
