We are very pleased to announce the launch of ASA Conservation Grants, in partnership with Amphibian Ark Conservation Grants. These grants are only available to ASA partners, and are awarded in honour of Dr. George B. Rabb (1930-2017), an ardent supporter of amphibians and all those who care for them​. These grants support projects that reflect Dr. Rabb’s commitment to helping the world’s amphibians through evidence-based conservation interventions that address key threats and raise awareness. Teaching requirements are according to the Bavarian University Law and will involve conservation-related courses (5 hours/week). Our results indicate that bullfrog farms can harbor high Bd genotypic diversity and virulence and may be contributing to the spread of virulent genotypes in the natural environment.
