This year was the best for frogs and palmate newts, with 1,424 and 1,194 recorded respectively since the patrol began. With 1,376 toads helped across the road, 2025 was the best year for toads since 2010. Leer más.

We found a positive correlation between high-connectivity road segments and roadkill for both species, proving that landscape connectivity can be a valuable tool to predict locations with higher roadkill probability. Leer más.

A New Species of Tachymenoides (Serpentes: Dipsadidae: Tachymenini) from Peru with Comments on the Taxonomic Status of Galvarinus tarmensis (Walker, 1945)

We describe a new species of snake of the genus Tachymenoides using molecular and morphological evidence. The description is based on 21 specimens (4 females, 17 males) obtained in the regions of Pasco, Junín, and Puno between 2190 and 3050 m elevation. Leer más.
