 | Los espacios destinados a la cría de tortugas en el Centro de Reproducción de Tortugas de l’Albera, en Garriguella, se han ampliado para doblar su capacidad con el fin de repoblar de galápago europeo autóctono el río Ter. El director de estas instalaciones, Joan Budó, ha presentado la nueva construcción de 31 charcas que permitirán pasar a una producción anual de unos 60 ejemplares. Leer más. |
In a small parcel of the Italian Alps there is a «black salamander» which is not black! Since its discovery in the 80s of last century this wonderful urodelele has been always treated as a jewel. Food-web stability is enhanced when many diverse predator-prey links connect high and intermediate trophic levels. The computations also reveal that small ecosystems follow other rules than large ecosystems: differences in the strength of predator-prey links increase the stability of small webs, but destabilize larger webs.
