After four years of extensive fieldwork, the research team at Tropical Herping unveiled the richest community of amphibians and reptiles in any cloudforest locality above 1000 m. Geckos outclass adhesive tapes in one respect: Even after repeated contact with dirt and dust do their feet perfectly adhere to smooth surfaces. Researchers have now developed the first adhesive tape that does not only adhere to a surface as reliably as the toes of a gecko, but also possesses similar self-cleaning properties. ![]() | El pasado fin de semana (del 15 al 17 de febrero),Arbórea participó en el primer muestreo del año 2013 de seguimiento de anfibios en el Parque Natural Sierra Norte de Sevilla, organizado por la Asociación AMBOR. Participamos un total de 60 personas, entre amantes de la naturaleza, estudiantes de carreras afines y monitores. Los muestreos se desarrollaron tanto de día como de noche, y de viernes a domingo pudimos cubrir todas las zonas y casi todos los puntos de agua marcados del Parque Natural. Leer más. |
