TRENDS IN BIODIVERSITY AND EVOLUTION (TIBE) CONFERENCE

This year, the TRENDS IN BIODIVERSITY AND EVOLUTION (TIBE) conference is organized by the PhenEvol [1] research group of CIBIO-InBIO [2], and will be devoted to BIODIVERSITY, ECOLOGY and EVOLUTION in MEDITERRANEAN ecosystems. Represented by the Mediterranean Basin hotspot, these ecosystems support the coexistence of a rich flora and fauna with humans. During two days, we will discuss which factors have shaped biodiversity in Mediterranean ecosystems, evaluate their relative contribution, and analyze the impact of human activities and climate change on their biodiversity. We believe that this is an excellent opportunity to share and disseminate the cutting-edge research currently being done in this field!

The conference will take place on 4-6 DECEMBER, 2019 at CIBIO-INBIO FACILITIES in Vairão, Portugal. It will include 4 invited plenary talks, 16 oral communications (to be selected) and poster sessions.
