El programa ofrece 20 becas para realizar estudios de doctorado por un plazo máximo de 48 meses. Está dirigido a profesores e investigadores no brasileños, vinculados a Instituciones de Educación Superior de cualquier país iberoamericano (incluidos España y Portugal) que estén integradas en la Asociación Universitaria Iberoamericana de Postgrado (AUIP).  | Scientists in California, working with the San Diego Zoo, are taking extraordinary steps to save an endangered frog. The mountain yellow-legged frog used to be found in nearly every mountain range in Southern California. But after years of drought, fire, floods and a deadly fungus, only about 150 adults live in the wild today. Last summer, biologist Frank Santana put dozens of endangered yellow-legged tadpoles in a creek high in the San Jacinto Mountains, east of Los Angeles. They have been in cages the whole time, getting acclimated to the wild. |
