A new analysis of dinosaur fossils by University of Pennsylvania researchers has revealed that a number of specimens of the genus Psittacosaurus — once believed to represent three different species — are all members of a single species. Nelle prime ore della mattinata è stato scoperto, tra l’incredulità e lo stupore, sulla spiaggia di Mondello, un nido contenente circa 60 uova deposte nel corso della notte da una tartaruga Caretta caretta presso un lido della famosa spiaggia di Palermo. Non si ricorda a memoria d’uomo un simile evento sulle spiagge frequentate dai Palermitani. Sul posto è intervenuto il personale della Guardia costiera e del WWF, che ha provveduto a circoscrivere e delimitare l’area per assicurare la massima protezione delle uova. Leer más.
