Las becas de movilidad de profesores e investigadores de universidades brasileñas y españolas tienen como objetivo promover la cooperación cultural y científica entre Brasil y España. La Fundación Carolina convoca estas becas en colaboración con el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), la Junta de Andalucía, la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), la Universidad Carlos III, y la Universidad Rovira i Virgili. Estas becas estan dirigidas a profesores universitarios, investigadores y estudiantes de doctorado en fase de investigación, brasileños y españoles, que acrediten la necesidad de trasladarse a uno u otro país para completar su formación, actualizar su nivel de conocimientos, establecer lazos con otros equipos de su especialidad o reunir la información necesaria para los estudios o investigaciones que estén llevando a cabo.  | Tree analyses suggest that A. muletensis, endemic to the Balearic island of Mallorca, is the sister taxon to a clade comprising the southeastern Iberian endemic A. dickhilleni and the North African A. maurus.  | Clutch size of genus Alytes presents strong inter- and intra-specific variability. The Mallorcan midwife toad (A. muletensis) is a threatened endemism of the island of Mallorca (Spain), and has the smallest clutch size of the genus. Most of the previously published clutch size information was obtained from animals breeding in captivity. In this study we analysed a large number of clutches from wild populations, and we compared their size (number of eggs) with previously published data from both captive and wild populations.
