S’ha localitzat a València en bon estat una tortuga marina que havia estat rescatada pel Centre de Recuperació del GOB. El setembre de 2011 un pescador profesional va trobar la tortuga marina enredada en unes restes de xarxa abandonades al Canal de Menorca. Va ser entregada al nostre Centre de Recuperació, que va gestionar l’enviament urgent de l’animal al Centre de Recuperació de Marineland, a Mallorca, especialitzat en fauna marina. Leer más.

Cloacal swabs and caecal contents sampled from 58 cane toads (Bufo marinus) in St George’s parish, Grenada, during a 7-month period in 2011 were examined by an enrichment and selective culture method for presence of Salmonella spp. Twenty-four (41%) toads were positive for Salmonella spp. of which eight were Salmonella enterica serovar Javiana, and eight were S. enterica serovar Rubislaw.
