Por segundo año consecutivo, voluntarios de Ecologistas en Acción hemos efectuado una salida nocturna con el motivo de llevar a cabo un muestreo de anfibios (ranas, sapos, salamandras, etc.); actividad que realizamos en colaboración con la Asociación Herpetológica Española (AHE) dentro del proyecto SARE (Seguimiento de Anfibios y Reptiles). Sandy’s late-season arrival meant most of the tiny hatchlings emerged well before the storm hit. All of South Carolina’s nests had hatched, said DuBose Griffin, sea turtle program coordinator for the state’s Department of Natural Resources.
